Theodore TL Leonard
Theodore Leonard is a PhD Student at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), The University of Queensland. His work focuses on engineering mRNA medicines, spanning a patented, cell‑free single‑pot mRNA manufacturing platform, transcription factor–encoding mRNAs for cancer therapy, and mRNA‑encoded therapeutic metabolic enzymes. Trained across pharmacy, biomaterials, parasitology and GMP stem‑cell manufacturing, he combines wet‑lab and computational approaches to design, produce and analyse high‑quality mRNAs and complex biological data. Theodore is particularly interested in making advanced therapeutic technologies more scalable and accessible.
