Ye (Bruce) Li
Ye (Bruce) Li is a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Life Sciences, Fudan University. His research focuses on RNA biology, translation regulation and structural mechanisms of ribonucleoprotein and ribosome-associated systems. He uses cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, biochemical reconstitution and cell-free translation assays to investigate how RNA elements, translation factors and ribosome-targeting molecules regulate gene expression. His recent work includes structural studies of ChCas12b genome-editing complexes, ribosome-targeting synthetic macrolides, and the development of a human cytosolic cell-free translation platform. He is interested in applying structural and biochemical approaches to RNA biotechnology and therapeutic innovation.
